I’m sorry for your loss. I’m not sure if the chick had a prolapsed vent or not, but many defects at birth are very hard to help. Did you set your eggs to hatch on the same day? Good luck.

Yes but other hens lad eggs and kicked some out...

My lavender (only chick left i hatched) just died, looked fine just breaking in gasp, and weak.
