HELP!!!

Okay so I googled it, and all I can find is this. It looks similar to the disconnected blood vessel. But dark black. Only started with a few spots.

No death ring two weeks ago when candled. But that is when I noticed the black connected spots.

I found this thread- https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...n-duck-egg-in-incubator-hatching-time.932859/

Some people said theirs with the black spots hatched and some did not? I didn't read the whole thread 'cause bossman walked in but maybe you can skim thru?

This is the same egg in the 1st picture. I took it back out and candled it. (Barely cracking the lid)

What I have found, the dark blotches on the outside of the egg, is clear on the inside when candled.

But the white on the outside of the eggs, is grey on the inside when candled.

It shows the exact pattern, but opposite colors? Maybe it is bacteria like y'all mentioned? And that is the area the membrane is not attatched? I have no idea. They were not the cleanest eggs, I didn't have many to choose from. So I would not be surprised if the blotches is bacteria.

You might not can tell from the picture, but it is taken from the same angle. One candled, one with the lights on. Just gets more weird. When you move the light around, you can see the pattern better. This just shows one big white patch on the outside, then the same patch but grey when candled. (I tried my best to explain, don't know if it makes any sense)

This is the "black matter" I was talking about. Same egg.

But after candling, I don't think it has anything to do with the blotches on the shell.

I don't know what picture will show it best, so I just did a few. These are on the pointy end.

I honestly don't think this egg will hatch. It looks awful, but I have been proven wrong before so it's going back in anyway.

The "black matter" it the dark line between the two clear spots. It started off as just a few attatched spots, but now it has lines of it in this egg.

I tried not to smell it hahaha. I am sure it stinks. Just going to hope none of them explode on me today haha, at least until I can get the babies out.

That is my thought also. I doubt this one wil hatch, that's why I didn't worry about taking it out a few times.

But it does show the line of gunk very well. And also has the blotches on the shell.

I'm not as worried about the other eggs, just these two trying to hatch. Everything else is just me being curious as to what it is.
