They are so tiny! The first one to hatch, Irma, has black toes. The second one, Harvey, has a white stripe over both feet.

Irma is doing great. Harvey looks good and will stand up straight, but every now again he will duck his head down and run backwards?? After a few times he had a sticky yolky poop. So maybe thats why, or maybe its a coincidence? It just seems odd.

Harvey also has a bit of shell and egg residue on his back? They are dry, just look glued a little still. When chicks are ever really bad, I will wait until they are a couple days old, and I will wash them in warm water and dawn soap quickly then blow dry them off. But I don't know about a baby duck?

Harvey also has his feet curled a little still. He can walk/crawl, but not near as well as Irma who can run around flat footed already.

what breed are they? I cannot remember if you mentioned.

and yes, ducks are fine to be washed like you do chicks, but a couple a days, it will flake off too. Whichever you prefer to do.

Mama is a Pekin and the dad is a Khaki Campbell. It looks like they will have some pretty neat colors on them.

Oh i think you did mention that somewhere back in the middle pages lol. I did check the first post, but didn't scroll back thru the whole thing.

They have already imprinted on me too!

When I bought their parents last year, they were already a few weeks old. So they didn't care for me much lol. But these little babies already think I'm their mama so they are going to be a lot of fun for the next few weeks. I'm so excited!
