i am going to see if anyone has a free one of these i can have when can they go outside

They should be fine to go outside during the day.

i have hamster cage that is a good size shall i out them in there for the night

Great idea if you feel ok doing that. Personally for me I would then I know they are safe over night. In the dark they should be pretty settled, that’s why I like heat plates rather than lamps as it gives a more natural sleep patterns for the young birds.

right i am getting the hamster cage and they are coming in and putting them out when i get up. Water taken a away and given for supervised swims and will then be towel dried. Thank you for your help. I didn’t know about the ramp will sort that tomorrow

How cute...Fresh water and feed with a heat source is all they need. Ducklings can swim from day one and swimming encourages the oil gland to produce oil. I swim all my Ducklings at 2 days old to get them water proof...

I want to say a massive thank you for all your help to happy ducks out in the. Garden this morning. I have to go out so keeping them away from there paddling pool

Of course duckling can swim right off but what we use for them to swim in is very important. They have to have a safe way in and out and should be supervised in the beginning to make sure they are safe. Those of us who have lost a duckling or almost have know how important this is.
