this is the feeder progression I had with my ducklings last year. worked really well and except for the first one were all free and no waste.

Nice set up cute little ones. Reg heat lamp no Teflon? I can only see one problem they need a different feeder their bills are wider these feeders are made for chicks. Hopefully what ever was wrong with the one that passed was just something with him.
no teflon. they now have a bigger feeder and water. they were jumping out of the tote and outgrew my chick starter kit in 2 weeks. they grew so fast.

I would not use this. The amount of niacin on your ingredient list is so minuscule compared to the required daily amount ducks need that you would be feeding them most of that bottle for 1 days worth of niacin. Now it probably won’t hurt them to have some of it, but if the main motivation is niacin I wouldn’t go that route.

There are many ducklings who just are weak and die unexpectedly. It’s heartbreaking though I hate it.:hugs

I have one now that keeps opening and closing its mouth, runny nose, and breathing sounds bad. I felt the crop doesnt feel big. Any ideas
