Help!

I had someone watching my birds for the past week when I got back one of my silkies was super lethargic.

Close inspection shows that her vent was completely blocked by feces. I brought her in to wash her and it’s way worse than I thought. I got most of it away and unplugged. But her vent is opened and protruding.

The poor thing has her eyes closed and can barely stand. What can I do for her?

Never mind, she just passed away. I think I was just too late, but I feel so guilty since this could have been prevented

Sorry for your loss. Do you think that she might have suffered a prolapsed vent that might have contributed to this. Or was it just constipation and pasting up?
