Help!

ive been researching on and off since yesterday and i cant find a single article anywhere of people using a product and it helping
But what i did learn was the ducks natural oils are wore wax like, and it produces tiny amounts. So a little goes a long way
ide be thinking more bees wax

If you check out these two articals both the bird oil and beeswax are based on fatty acids and alchohals

My duck was severely injured by a raccoon a few months ago. After several vet visits & treatments, she pulled through but now has a problem. The raccoon destroyed her oil gland. I have been bathing her with dawn dish soap and blowing her dry about once a weak, but does anyone know of a better answer? Is there a synthetic oil or substitute I could use? I’m afraid this poor girl won’t live long if I can’t help her better.
Your sure her oil gland was injured?
Possibly wet feather or she needs a full molt. I'd stop using anything to wash her except let her bath in clear water.

Yes it has, definitely can't complain too much. Our extended forecast is not looking good though...highs in the 30s lows in the teens. 🥶 Got the houses cleaned out today to prepare.

yes, tomorrow is our last day of spring-like weather. I'm going to bulk up the hay in their pens and replenish my hay barrel tomorrow. I put them to bed tonight not even wearing a sweatshirt!
