I am worried that I may loose another hen and my rooster. I bought 7 hens that looked raggedy but I wanted to give them a good home. BIG MISTAKE! 5 have died and 1 looks as if she will be dead by the end of the day. 1 of my roosters died. 1 is in sick ward, gasping for air basically. I have pedialyte in a bowl and Fred and have them under a heat lamp. I have 2 vaporizers with Vet Rx and have been putting in their head. What can I do?

Trouble breathing. Feathers looking kinda oily. Kinda like my roo is gasping for breath

Can you post pics and a full list of symptoms?
It sounds like they were already diseased; possibly a worm infestation?
Lethargic, and just kinda reaching for the sky to breath. My roo kinda shakes his head and then ruffles feathers. Main problem is breathing

Unless you are outside of the US, gapeworm is rare so I would suspect some sort of respiratory issue. Watery eyes and a swollen face could indicate infectious coryza, infectious bronchitis or other respiratory issues. I would have one of the dead birds sent out for a necropsy; if you have other birds please keep the sick ones a good distance away.

I am in South Georgia. The 2 sick ones are in a spare bedroom inside my house, not out in the pasture where my coop is and the others.
