I don't think it would do any harm, but it could help in case it is worms causing her condition.

Is she still drinking on her own? If not, she might be dehydrated.

If she does not drink on her own, you would need to keep her hydrated using the technique shown in the link provided above. But do it slowly as she needs to be able to swallow in between.
Maybe try some scrambled eggs or/and some yoghurt with fine oatmeal.

She looks to be a RIR? 4/5yrs is "older"... Check her belly area, is it squishy?

Ok so on further research if the abdomen is kinda below the vent then yes that is squishy sorry I’m not a chicken expert and definitely do not know chicken anatomy

So it seems to be ascites. As her feces/urates appear to be yellowish and if the yellow does not stem from egg yolk, she might suffer from liver issues.

How does she walk, is it with her legs apart like a duck?
