I candled them to see if they are fertile and such and some are clear some arent.. Please help!!!:(

I am by no means an expert, as I just hatched my first batch of quail eggs. That beaing said, I candled 20 of my 31 eggs at day 9, and seperated the clear from not clear in the incubator. 3 of my hatched chicks came from ones the appeared clear at day 9. If you are able to incubate them, I would incubate them all.

I have an incubator up stairs! I was actually really wanting to hatch eggs! If I hatched them I would probably bring them to a bird rescue because I already have enough birds. I just need my dads say so. Until then I have them in the same garden outside under a glove..Thanks for answering too!!

My dad said we are going to incubate them!! Any tips? I have incubated chicken eggs before successfully..are they the same?

They are fairly close to the same as chicken eggs, though take less time. I ran my incubator at 99.5 to 99.7, with about 40-50% humidity. At day 14 I upped the humidity to about 65%. My first chick pipped 2 hours before day 16 started, and the first one out was about 3 hours before the end of day 16. The hardest for you is not knowing how long the hen was sitting on them before you found them. Theres really no telling when they will be ready to hatch. Personally I don't know what to do in that situation. Perhaps someone with more experience with quail might know. If it was me, with no advice from anyone, I would probably try to run it at 50-55% humidity and hope for the best.

There is a fertile quail egg chart I found. Maybe I will candle them in a couple days and compare! :) By the way! My dad said yes! They're in the incubator right now! I'm excited!! Yet, I feel bad for the mama! :/

You are better off leaving them completely alone. What type of quail are they from anyway? Each type of quail has different requirements in the incubator. And if you are only going to take them to a bird rescue facility, they are already bursting at the seams and do not need and wild quail.

Leave them alone.
