when and how should I start introducing my baby chicks back to my flock since the mamma is no longer with us?........thank you!

They fit in a bit better when they're about the same size as grown chickens. We've always kept our chicks separate until they're about two months old (at least). When introducing, it's good if you can keep the newcomers apart from the rest of the flock for a while, perhaps by way of a fenced off area, to allow the flock to get accustomed to their presence.

I have a smaller coop out there to put them a few hrs a day were the rest can see them but not get to them
