My Rir that hasn't laid an egg yet, is getting a bigger, redder comb and wattle day by day,
She,s about 4/5 months old and I've had her a month, my other has been saying an egg every day, so I know I have the feed / conditions ok, Can somebody look at my avatar pic, and tell me what they think, she is the one nearest the camera, with the bright red , big wattle n comb,
Any advice would be appreciated

Hmmm....the birds in your avatar are not RIR? What is it you are concerned about? The bird pictured is a pullet who just isn't ready to lay an egg yet (though she looks to be close) - the only "advice" I can offer is be patient, because that is all you can do.

Thank you, I'm not too bothered about the eggs, I'm more bothered about having to find a new home for her if she crowed and my daughter loves them both
Thanks for advice
.

I thought they were Rhode Island reds, I have a lot to learn x

As long as they don't crow, and I get the occasional egg
I'm happy :D

Oh, you'll get more than the occasional egg - these girls will be egg laying machines for the next couple of years.
