This is one of the two blue JGs. I am still holding out hope it's a pullet. The other blue has a larger comb and wattles and more distinctive roo tailfeathers. This one is iffy... Apparently JGs take a LONG time to mature.

These are my Trader Joe chicks plus another hatched at the same time, in their grow out coop. White Leghorns, apparently.

I'm going to rant and noone has to respond. If I don't get it off my chest, I'll be cursing and there isn't even anyone home besides me to hear it.
My redwood hatcher came today. Thing weighs 300 pounds and I paid out the wazoo for it-THERE WAS A HOLE KNOCKED IN THE SIDE OF IT DURING SHIPPING and the controls had come loose. I have a cabinet incubator LOADED with duck eggs waiting to get this hatcher in-now I can't use it until my husband fixes it and I have no flippin' hatcher.
PLUS, a bug flew up my nose and I ended up inhaling it down my throat-I was gagging and my husband was about to wet his pants laughing at me-NOT FUNNY(OK, a little).
AND, a couple of these fools that are calling about these free roosters have said, "I don't want roosters, I want hens." Really? THEN GO BUY SOME!

OK, I'm good now...
