LOL Gump the chicken!
You could keep them in the garage or maybe an extra bathroom where he wont find them?
You guys need some rain, I hate to say it but you guys will probably have to wait till a hurricane or tropical storm comes along...
I'm on watering ducks duty today! Spose to get really hot and humid today.
Duck, we have the ducklings in the garage and DH is the one that moved the fan about 3 inches from the fully open wire cage we have them in. He actually keeps telling me to turn the incubator back on and hatch some more-it's me that is resistant to this idea.
I agree 100% on what it will take to break our drought, duck. We vote for a tropical storm-those bad boys can dump a rear end load of rain in a few days and we need it!
I'm always on watering duty. Now it's a matter of going out 4 times a day and putting frozen water bottles in bowls, spraying ducks, etc. I told my sister that they were going to find me passed out by the duck pens from heat stroke while trying to keep the birds cool.
We need this, only not QUITE so much. This was in my neck of the woods.

DH wants you to hatch more ducklings?!?!!?
Me thinks he has hatch-itis
It would be nice if the ducks didnt eat the clematis that is spose to give them a ton of shade in the summer but they like to eat it
Need to get the chicken wire out, I suppose.
WOW! That's a bunch of rain...
