Helpful hints for building coops

good morning,
we are supposed to get a good dump of snow starting at 10AM. we got a preliminary 1 1/2"
over night , sort of like to prime the pump.
when this snow starts, we are going to get 2" per hour..
the highway I39 is already slippery.
Annie saw a slide-off where the car went down into the ditch and up the slope all the way to the tree line. You have to be going about 70MPH to accomplish that feat.

You know when I was young I thought I wanted to move to the north woods or out west to Idaho.. snow didn't seem like a big deal back then.
Now days the humidity bothers me too. I need to build more coops and enclosed runs and all I do is the essentials and hide in the climate controlled house 10 months of the year.

It was 78° and sunny here today! I was actually sweating as i planted flower bulbs. Weird to have temps like that in Feb.

I'm a payroll specialist for union electricians so the payroll MUST go out on time. They are expecting snow starting on Saturday and continuing through next week so management has asked me to bring an overnight bag when I go to work on Monday in case we have to stay. There's a nice hotel nearby but I am betting it'll be full.

Temps dropped from 50 to 15 last evening ...wind is howling...got enough snow to make everything white again, but not much more forecast.

We have 2 little dogs with naked bellies so they both hate stepping off the deck into deep snow. We have to watch them or they decorate the deck in their efforts to keep those bellies dry and warm.
