Helpful hints for building coops

I tried CAD/CAM but I was not trained in it and never got even close to being good at it.

I learned to draft on the board,
then learned computers and cadd at about the same time,
picked up both pretty quick, got an internship that turned into an 18 year job.
I could not have made a living drafting on the board, was not that good at it.

I got out of drafting school at just about the time when everybody was learning CADD.
after a couple of years, nobody wanted a board drafter anymore.
the window company I worked for had computer draft machines that had 50 layers.. I used only one layer..

I bought some chicks today, assorted bantams and LF Cochins. I want some broodies.

More rain forecast tomorrow. Some guy is supposed to come buy 6 guineas. I am hoping to get some work done in the workshop.

Forecast for tonight/tomorrow .....1/4" of ice followed by 2-4" of snow.......no polar vortex temps tho

The Snowpocalypse was a washout, just cold rain and wind instead. Not fun but much better than snow and ice.

We got some good news, a 1/3 of an acre lot we had looked at before that had been taken off the market was put back on with a price drop so after 4 fails I think we might actually have our lot. Please keep your fingers crossed for us.

Bob plowed our 4 inches this morning, didn't want to have to plow that plus the 7 to 11 that is on the way right now.
It is moving north and is less than 30 miles south of us right now.
