Day 3 of rain. OMG, I am so sick of it! It is putting me behind on my projects.
We are going to be putting up 16 panels of privacy fence on the area facing the road to block off the view of all the coops. I just want to keep stray critters out myself.
Today is our 42nd anniversary! So I ordered an incubator and a new breed of chicks.

No progress today, rain again. About 8" so far. Did manage to sell 3 young chicken locally. Had to drive the long way around today because the short way was flooded!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY..
sorry to hear about all the rain, It makes me almost ashamed to tell you that we have been having just perfect days.
today was productive.
I got both sections of the green house floor framed. Nephew was here and we picked up branches and hauled them back to the burn pile. two huge pickup truck loads.
then he mowed grass and weeds until he ran out of gas. (the mower, not Dan.)
the tomato plants have just about doubled in size since I put them into the buckets.

Omg, it is still raining hard! Isn't 8 inches enough rain for freaks sake? The river is already over flood stage! One of the roads to town is flooded, had to take the long route to meet someone to sell chicks. I would really love a few days of sun. So close to finishing that run!

Sorry to hear about your floods Cappy, but, being Australian, it just doesn't feel right to me to complain about rain....

We had 8 too and it was dry yesterday, well from the sky. Place is a mudhole. Rain starting again tomorrow for a week

The sun is shining today and no rain so far! Got a chick sale meeting in an hour, and another inquiry. Plus an order for eggs!
