thank You all, I think I will keep her around for another 57 years.
DD has some sort of raspberry that yields in late summer. She gave us some that she picked.
Annie made a raspberry pie.. Very simple, bake a corn flake crust. pour the berries in raw and uncrushed, top with lots of whipped cream..
You can cut a perfect piece, but it is almost impossible to get it onto the plate in a pie shape. from then on I call it pudding..

I am getting ready for my surgery on Thurs.
taking two showers per day. One with soap and the second with body disinfectant.
poking ointment up my nose twice a day.
cutting out some of my meds and all over the counter meds and supplements.
On my own, I decided to quit coffee. This is day three. the first day was not too pleasant, but now I am good to go..
going to dismantle the tomato patch. cutting all the zip ties and remove the stakes. stacking the buckets out of the way for snow plowing.

So GORGEOUS out there...wish I could spend hours working in the yard.
The spirit is willing, the old bod says HellsNO!!
Peach crisp in the oven, don't usually bake stuff, but peaches were about to go bad.

My get up and go has got up and went. Beautiful day and I got about 2 gallons of potatoes harvested. About a tenth of them

my get up and go is named Annie. Today she suggested that we clean up in the garage some.
She went out and by the time I got my shoes on, Dan was out there with her. We spent about four hours cleaning and sorting. filled half a dumpster with stuff. swept the whole floor. couldn't even see the floor when we started.. at the end I backed old Ollie into his garage.
We still have boxes of stuff to sort through. mostly odds and ends of tools .
That sort of thing I can do while recuperating from my hip surgery.. Dan will help me, He likes organizing messes..
I have enough messes here to keep him happy for a long time.
Dan is my nephew who moved in to help out this winter. I am going to teach him to run the snow plow..
