One of the people here in town had to find a new home for their flock of 12 week old pullets and I so wanted to take them. I don't know why they had to get rid of them immediately, but 8 more pullets would have been awesome. When we win the lottery I am so enlarging our property.

Had a great time at ceramics class tonight. Going to bed soon since I have to get up at 7:30 and be in Lynchburg for a stress test at 9 am. Then go home, get the goat and my truck and drive to Martinsville. Going to be a crazy day!

I just realized, we started our hoop coop build one year ago!

Weee!

After raking the area we laid down the connected cattle panels, placing #4 at the end.

I popped off the staples and removed the old 2x4s:

Then I zip-tied the 4th panel to the end, and added more zip-ties where the panels joined for strength:

I slid the new pressure treated 2x4x16's under the long sides and hammered in 1 1/2" staples:

Not my typical schedule, thank goodness. Still have not unloaded the truck.
