We paid for materials but not labor. But it still annoys the heck out of me because all this lovely weather is being wasted. And i am sick of living in a construction zone. I feel like things are NEVER going to get finished.

I think i will keep the hens and some roos of the guineas cooped up this spring and let the extra males roam to eat bugs. Then i can hatch replacements. I have more roos than hens by far.If the guy really has gout, he would not be standing around and talking about it. IMHO
Looks like you will have to put your new saw to work and finish the coop yourself.
pay yourself an hourly wage. and deduct it off of what you owe them, .. tell them up front that is your intention.
I finally broke down and went to a chiropractor today. today was just talk, and an Xray . tomorrow we see if he will have any answers.
I am having pain from a very old accident where I cracked a couple of bones in my neck..
tomorrow I will either work on the 4" jointer and see if I can set the blades like I did with the new 6" .. or I will go to the steel yard up the road and get a piece of angle iron to make a blade lapper..
I would be afraid to start up a shop vac in my chicken coop. I think it would plug up..
our second last guinea got hit out on the road today. one left. I'm afraid he will live forever. started out with 30 of them a year ago last spring.
they are for tick control
a sacrificial commodity ...

Well, you have to be careful what you suck up. I was only sucking up dust in a few places, no shavings or straw, mostly outside the actual coop. My coop is only 6x16 inside a 16x16 shed. See My Coop page.I would be afraid to start up a shop vac in my chicken coop. I think it would plug up..
Hi Jim,good eve,
I went to the steel yard for an eight inch piece of angle iron. they didn't have any cut offs I could use.
so I came back home and jointed a 5 ft piece of oak. cut it to size and have it all ready to glue up..
going to try to make the sharpener jig out of oak..
too cold in the shop to glue anything. so I brought the wood and clamps into the house. I will glue it up in here after while.
I am glad I took time to adjust all the power tools. it sure makes building things a lot easier..
Cappy, is your table saw all adjusted for squareness ?. have you used it yet ?.
pretty quilt..
the chiropractor took Xrays of my neck.
man o man, am I whacked out of shape.
all of the discs are worn down into wedge shapes.. hardly no natural good curve left in the neck..
he has me doing exercises to strengthen my neck muscles ..since I am gooing to have to depend on the muscles to support my head..
