The coop i am working on now will be 12'x8'. Going to divide it up into two separate coops. I really am hoping to get that first wall up tomorrow unless it is raining or i can't lift it by myself. Hubby will be back in 2 days.

wait for hubby.. there is not that big of a rush
we had isolated rain in the area yesterday.
where we were in town, dry. when we got home everything was wet..
all night I could hear the water pump going on and off. at 6 AM I asked Annie if she knew why it was doing that ? all I could think of was a hole in the riser tube inside the well casing, or a faulty check valve.. first things first. check the toilet. nope, it was not running. went outside to check the faucet. yup. I must have bumped it on while I was mowing the grass out there.
let me tell you, if you want a cold drink, come on over.
I mowed grass yesterday. got about 80% done. didn't go between the trees in the nut orchard.
Annie did locate and stake the 3 grapes that I transplanted last year. they were hidden in some tall grass. now I can mow around them..

good morning,
at 11:50 PM we had a terrific t-storm slide through here.
wind, rain and small hail..
this morning there was one pine tree from the wind break lying across my truck. and a couple of tops out of the wind break pines on the driveway.
about 2 inches of water in the wheelbarrow.
no damage to the truck or anything else .
I had to close the window because water was spraying through the screen and all the way across the bed..
I should have know it was coming because Frankie pushed the bedroom door open and would not leave. She knows she is not allowed in any of the bedrooms.
she could hear the thunder ten minutes before I heard anything. that is Frankie in my avatar picture..
after the second time she pushed into the bedroom, I let her stay until the storm was over.. some guard dog, eh ? LOL
had a guy come on Monday and today to pick up anything made out of metal. I got rid of two full to the brim pickup loads of junk. lawn mower, air compressor, oil burner, another air compressor, ice fishing shelter, rototiller, copper tubing, bucket of nuts and bolts and rusty nails.,and odds and ends of whatever.. and the yard doesn't even look like anything is missing.
He even hauled the dead water heater out of the basement..

He donates whatever is good to his church, so we sent along a super nice wheel chair that belonged to Annie's sister .
