That is great! I really don't want anyone messing with my eyeballs.good sat. eve.
I tried pitting the plum with the cherry pitter.
the stone is too big for the hole. it is a no-go..
so tonight I took 8 cups of plums with 1/2 cup of water. steamed them for 10 minutes. mashed them with a potato masher. then sent them through the tapered sieve with the wooden handle. it squeezed the pulp through the tiny holes and the skins and seeds stayed in the sieve.. worked like a charm. next time I am going to skip the masher.
8 cups of raw plums = 2 cups of pulp.
I can live with that..
Cappy, how many more coops are you going to build ?
I have 2 empty coops and 2 empty pens.
this morning I shampooed the living room carpet before breakfast ..as a reward, Annie took me out for breakfast..
we had good news yesterday. Annie doesn't need cataract surgery after all.. maybe in a year or so, though..

As for coop building, idk. I am considering one for the young guineas but may just sell the other guineas and use the hoop coop. I really don't want many more birds, especially heading into winter. I might get some Bobwhites and other quails though once i sell some of these.
