I just took the garbage to the road.
it has been snowing lightly since 7AM.
now it is snowing and blowing. can just see the neighbor's house about 1/3 mile away.
have a good inch.supposed to end up with 5
grandson came home from work. said he saw a couple cars in the ditches and saw two collisions. and there was not even an inch of snow , yet..
hope the quail sale goes OK.

It went great! I sold 45 and i still have some left for sale. Also sold the last 3 guineas!:wee

all the schools are closed. I think they have 15 snow days to make up already.

Dang I feel for you. We once had a winter with snow for a couple of weeks (super rare here) and folks lost their minds. I can't imagine what it's like to have it for so long and heavy.
 
you can't lose what you don't have.
my ancestors must have lost their minds to have settle here. and the rest is heredity .
I tried posting a picture I took out of our patio door. for some reason I can't post pictures all of a sudden..
we ended up with only about 3 inches of light fluffy snow today. DD called and asked if I thought it was necessary to plow ? I don't think so, since we are supposed to get 6 inches more this weekend..
my other DD brought her snow thrower here today for me to clean the carburetor.
I have hundreds of cubic yards of snow in front of my lean to so I can't get to my tools. I told her to bring her tools, of course she forgot.. I got the machine to run, but it won't stay running because the carb has to be cleaned.
Friday she will be back..(with tools)
