I put the people door on the run today, but didn't like the fit so I took it off and took it apart, sawed a bit off and reassembled it. The rehung it. Much better. View attachment 1968197

At the Menard's store around here, they have a "seconds" bin. often one can find partial sheets of plywood in it. Price is greatly reduced.
I went to the Bone & Joint clinic. made my appointment for my first hip replacement for April 2,2020(the year of perfect vision)
Annie's hip replacement is next Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.

It's cold, dark (really heavy clouds), and raining here right now. We're expecting a pretty good storm today and tonight. Serious wind so we'll have our first test on the power reliability here in town. The electricians are here now running power to and wiring the shed/garage so it'll be a good time to find out if we need an emergency generator for the freezer(s) and refrigerator(s) or not. I want to add one sooner or later but later would be nice.

Speaking of the freezer, this would be a good day to get some of that chili out.

DP wants to go out later and watch the king tide come in. I'll layer up and brave it, I owe her, I'm not making Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday (local restaurant has a nice buffet and they can use the business) and she is perfectly fine with it. I will still make a turkey dinner but not till this weekend. Honestly, after so many years I find I prefer to make the big dinner on a different day. Makes the shopping and prep so much easier and I can sit back and watch the parade on tv with a hot beverage.

thank you all for the good wishes and prayers for Annie.
She is the worlds worst patient.
Doesn't like to follow Dr's orders and instructions. She seems to think she knows best. If she was my child, I would slap her.
We are supposed to be at the hospital at 6:3o AM today. this big storm hit at about midnight. over two inches of snow by 1 AM
still coming down good and steady.
We have a ten mile drive over hilly roads.
I want to leave early. She thinks an extra ten minutes is all we need..
I got the transmission oil drained out of Ollie
It was 80% water.. I let it drain for a day. bought 5 gallons of gear oil.
I fixed the breather vent. that is where a lot of water leaked in. I am thinking of plugging that hole . don't need it since I do not use the hydraulics..

In other news, I finished the door of the run and started the frame for the roof of the run.
