@IdyllwildAcres are you still around?

Well as it turns out I am still around, I just logged in today for the first time in a long time to see how the community here is holding up. How the hell are you @aart ? Are you keeping distance from people? This CV19 is some serious stuff.

Hanging in there....am fluent in social distancing......so not much daily change here.

@Geggs was wondering about how your chicken palace coop is holding up.

I looked at the link. Holy Scramboli, that's a chicken coop! Since this was several years ago now, how are things going? I definitely agree with your rule of two's, except for the time part, for us, that was about a factor of 4, but we're not as young as we used to be.

I might post a pic or 2 of my little 4x8 starter coop at some point. My 2 light Brahma hens and one white Jersey Giant roo seem happy enough there. They will be 1 year old in April. They started laying in December and average about 10 medium to large eggs a week between them.

I like company once in awhile, but I also like my solitude.
this isolation is going well.. Annie got so bored that she baked an apple pie.. Yummm
I decided to pick up my guitar and maybe learn a few chords. Annie's sister owns a music store.
I called her and she has a Snark clamp-on tuner.
Her son is bringing it here at noon.
My daughter taught guitar lessons at the music store.
maybe I can get some free lessons ??
I have dabbled with drums, French horn, trumpet and piano. never got good with any of those. LOL
I don't get the written music language. I play mostly by ear.

My Dad played harmonica and accordion. I don't play anything but the radio or tv.

ah yes, I did play the harmonica . another instrument that I was not real good at. However, I did learn quite a few songs on it.
I wonder if that old thing is still around here someplace.
today Annie's sister and her son brought a guitar tuner to me. she wouldn't take any money for it.. Nice, eh?
I have the guitar tuned up already..
Don't plan on going on tour anytime soon.
