I got the chicken wire on over the welded wire to help keep out possums. And I got two pieces of fencing wire on top of the coop. The chickens had a great time bathing in the sand, to the left and out of the picture.

Rule of twos....
Make it twice as big as you think you need, walk in....
Put in twice the amount of ventilation you think you need.
It will cost twice as much as you planned.
It will take twice as long to build as you thought it would.

If this is your first flock build coop first, then get chicks.
Since you built it bigger build in a in coop brooder/chicken jail.

I count my blessings. I’ve never had predator problems. Occasionally a hawk will get a bird or 2 because they free range, but nothing more serious than that.

Only 2 coops? Poor dear. I have 7 big coops and a whole bunch of hutches, brooders etc. Lol, nice to have a hubby build coops. I build most of mine by myself. Sounds like you have nice birds!
I’ve seen nicer, but they sure are spoiled!!! We have a saying, me and my husband...everything that lives at this address is spoiled.
