Well they are kind of young for me to sex, but I figure 50% each of boys and girls unless I get lucky.

Those are beautiful babies, Cap. I was bad and didn't water today, we got distracted by the weather change and went fishing. Did good too, plenty of perch for the blue heron, ospreys, and the garden. Cupcake had her babies last night:

Boots, You're killing me.. Perch are one of my favorite fish .. Bluegills (brim) are a toss up.
Last Friday we accidentally found a restaurant that has perch on the menu. Trouble with that is that it is 45 miles away from us.
cold here today 46F. back in Feb I said that as soon as it got up to in the 40F's I was going to start doing things outside. what happened ??
I have the 12 foot long upper track ready to put up. All I have to do is figure a way to hold it up, position it, and screw it in all by myself..
I think I have a plan..
I once visited a hobby farm where they closed off all the doors of the cow barn and let rabbits free range in there. There were hundreds of them of all sizes and colors.
IDK if the people ever butchered any, but if they did, they were not keeping up..

Be careful. Cleat to hold one end might work.

Me too. my feet are always cold.
I have a lower track and will have an upper track to mount the front panels . there well be five front panels covered with green house plastic.
there will be a top spline and a bottom spline that fit into the tracks.
sort of like some cabinets with sliding doors.
you slip the top in and raise it up until the bottom clears the lower track. then line up the bottom and let the door settle down into the track.

Sorry Jim, all but one of the perch were too small to make filleting them worth it. I love cooked perch too, especially if someone else is doing the filleting and cooking .
