Are your GK's helping out on the 'farm'?
Yes, and no. Kind of sometimes. Not always reliable. But they will remember their trip.

Nice to have a GK to hold the board down.
my youngest GK is 28..
Dan got cardboard spread out in the new rhubarb patch. then he used up three bales of oat straw and covered the patch nice and deep.
Not going to get much outside work done for this coming week. cold, rain and possible snow.. yuck..
I will have Dan put the tractor into the garage. No need to let it get covered with yuck..
Otherwise we are pretty well set for winter.
Just have to disconnect the window AC's.
that should take about 15 minutes to do all three of them..
Yesterday I had a good PT session. It wore me out. I took a nap when I got home.

Glad your about ready for winter.
Does the pt come to the house or do you have to go in?

Maybe I can get in a nap tomorrow. Good for you, doing PT, Jim. Work it!

I go to bone and joint clinic for Pt. I like it because he works me harder than I work myself at home. I have two more sessions next week. Then we will decide if I need more.
I told Dave to not make the report too rosey..
I have the go ahead to drive Ollie.. If I can get on and off by myself.. I did not try it today because of the rain and snow...
I did manage to get the tail pipe clamped down , though.
Still have to figure out how I am going to modify the grill to make it fit over the hydraulic shaft ..

The younger granddaughter wanted to paint today, so I had her put a second coat on the goat house. Her younger brother was "helping " her and flung paint at her! Hit her face, including her eye! So I right away wiped the paint away from her eye with my shirt and rinsed it with water I keep out there in jugs. Once she got cleaned up by her mom, I put some drops in her eye to rinse it out more. She seems fine tonight.

kind of a scary moment, eh? I hope she feels OK today.
we had snow followed by rain yesterday.
this morning we had measurable miserable snow , again followed by rain.
I woke up at 3am. decided to take my water pill then. it went right to work. I was up about every hour until 9am. Now I need a nap.
I will go back to taking that pill after I am up and adam for the day..

I am getting around in the house without a cane.
minimal pain when I walk.. I still limp a lot.
