I like snakes too....and I used to like racoons and raptors. But that was before poultry. Anything that gets my birds and is legal to eliminate is gone

No, it's not.
Tho if it's new stuff, it would be good to let it off gas and air out for at least a few days before the birds are added to coop.

Looks like chicken wire. It would keep chickens in and hawks out. Other predators could get in.
