Helpful hints for building coops

I have built three so far by far I like the walk in coops the best. Easy to clean and take care of. I can reach everything easily.

I have not been getting posts from any sites on byc. I am caught up again.
still fiddling with that old lawn mower. I can get it to start only if I use starting fluid. I suspect a stuck float valve. not supposed to happen on a brand new carb.
tomorrow I will take it apart and see .
I have been neglecting my grapes. from a distance they look like they are growing .

Yeah I have had bad new parts at work. My brother is still working and got a new motor in that kept blowing fuses. They replaced the wires between the motor, fuses and breaker before they figured out it was the motor....it ohmed ok

Yeah, it seems you have to go over everything that you buy these days.
early this morning I took the carb off of the mower. I could not blow air through the intake nipple. I took the bowl off and discovered that the needle valve was not hooked up to the float. It is now..
I hope this fixes it.

Predator proofing the small coop to make bachelor coop for my hormonal bootyhead Joey...9 month old in with 4 month old to 3 week old babies. I think he's had all he can stand. Or one of the 4 month old girls is bout to start layin. Either way he's getting moved today if it's the last/only thing I do!

my biggest ailment is old age.
I will be 80 in a couple of weeks.
I don't drive any more. Eyesight is too bad. I don't want to run anybody over. lolol

I have been avoiding driving at night unless I can take back roads. Although nowadays there's traffic on the back roads. Glare of the LED headlights and cataracts. Friend from work just died at 73 from a heart attack...... He was going in for cataract surgery and they had him quit the blood thinners.

Did you get him moved?
I moved a randy boy to freeze camp Sun. Should have been done in the springs.
