sunny and dry today. I sawed off two large branches. more need to come off . I have to bring in the portable scaffold, (tractor loader) to reach them
I thought the wood would be like pine. not so.. it is more dense.

It dulls a chain quick.
Yeah, but I just bought a new file and guide. it only takes ten minutes to touch up the chain. the chain is really old and about used up. a new one is in order.
I want to attack that tree again. I decided to take off any branch that brushes against Annie's head when she is mowing the grass. gotta keep her happy of she might quit mowing.
I have a surplus of red squirrels.
some of them have to go. they are in all of the buildings. they are messy, especially when they eat pine cones.
I hate to see what the upstairs in the garage looks like. I haven't been up there for a year. No lights.
put that on my todo list.

So, after everyone is recovering from a summer cold we find out that the people who the 22yo probably caught it from had Covid.

Given exposures, it's entirely possible that this is the 3rd time I've had Covid. Though the only time I had the key symptoms of losing my smell and taste I had 3 tests showing negative. All the other respiratory illnesses weren't tested because they didn't show the normal symptoms.

I can breathe fine again, but I'm really tired.

we were possibly exposed three times this summer. knock on wood. we didn't catch it.
today I got a couple more big branches on the ground. really too hot to be sawing trees. I have two more branches on this tree, but I need a longer electric cord. I have plenty of cords here, so tomorrow I should get those last branches down.

whoops, no sawing today. the boss started cleaning out the big lean to.
I have to put up a tall set of shelves and then a left over kitchen wall cabinet. the mess will be the same, only more organized. she is finding
things that I had forgotten I have.

Peanut had her second set of twins since she was little!

In stained glass, do you use lead free solder ? I once had a fleeting desire to do leaded glass, but it passed.
I bought a pair of small leaded glass windows at an auction. I sold them , then they were given back to me, then I sold them again.

I *think* that the copper-foil technique has minimal lead, but since the people who originally taught my DH also did the lead work on restorations and had it in the shop we agreed together that I ought not to be there while pregnant.

Fortunately for the instructor, she had a waiting list for students so it wasn't a hardship to refund my money.
