Helpful hints for building coops

Today I cut the pieces for the goat door frame and painted them. I threw the lid for the sugar bowl on the wheel. Just waiting for it to stiffen up so I can trim it.

I made some Christmas ornaments, and trimmed the sugar bowl lid. But looking at it, I feel like it seems top heavy. So I may just make a different lid

Yes looks good but top is too tall

I am not a potter. but I have an opinion.
maybe just eliminate the taper and make the stem blunt . just for authenticity, and my preference.. also put grooves in the stem??
this advice is from someone who can't even get his tractor started..
