Helpful hints for building coops

I am a month behind on planting onions anyway

me too. I plant them around things. The things aren't planted yet; tomatoes, mostly.

I am gambling, I have everything planted in the raised beds and tomatoes in buckets.
one tup of peas, one of beans, one of jalapeno and bell peppers, and one with four buttercup squash and a Thai basil .
four more days until the traditional date of last frost.
the plum, and apple trees are in full bloom.
no blossoms on the blackberries yet
the two pear trees have blossoms. kind of sparse for leaves, though
no blossoms on the elderberries.
