the plum, and apple trees are in full bloom.

I posted in local FB groups looking for the owner

molpet, I had peacocks for a couple of years
our first one , we captured at night from a pine tree near the river. then we had to go looking for a peahen. we hatched a few.
I had a picture of the peacock with his fan wide open,. he was standing in front of the garage door.
the door is 7 ft tall and 9 ft wide. his fan was as high and wide as the door.
on Saturday it rained allmost nonstop, just barely above a mist,.
I have five tubs with plants in them. the weather man is talking about frost on Monday morning.
guess I will be covering tubs. the tomatoes are in 5gal buckets. those will be put into the garage
we had 4 hours of tornado watches and warnings a couple of nights ago. all we got was a little wind and not much rain.
the tornados touched down at a couple of places
3o miles away. and 15 miles away.
leveled one farm.

The storms that blew through here a couple nights ago left us with an inch of rain and minor erosion on our driveway. Many, many others were not so fortunate.

We're going to have cooler than average temps the next week or so. That's fine with me, as long as we don't get frost. Plants are too many and too far along to cover. So far, the lowest low forecast is for tonight, and is 41. Plenty safe, but my garden is in a valley where cold air settles.

Hope you get a bit of a breeze to move that settled air around!
