Helping Others During this Time of Covid 19 / Coronovirus 2020

I'm not sure if this falls under helping others but my neighborhood participated in something called "Chalk Your Walk" and several people
made sidewalk chalk art at the end of their driveways to brighten everyone's day! Such a cute idea! We loved it!

Of course it counts as helping others...anything that cheers people up helps! What a cool idea and fun too.

Oh how fun! That second one is a riot! We could all use some love and laughter right now. :)

What a great thread idea! I love reading about the good that's happening, there's certainly enough bad news.

In our neighborhood I'm the resident chicken keeper. My son has a friend down the street that needed eggs so I gave him some. I recently asked a neighbor if she had any yeast to trade for eggs. While she didn't, she did say she'd trade toilet paper for eggs if we need it. I find that hilarious for whatever reason. I also offered eggs and fresh carrots from my garden to all the houses who have kids or seniors and a couple of folks took me up on it this morning. We're also shopping for each other if there are items someone wasn't able to find on their trip to the store.

I have been helped too! I am almost out of yeast so someone gave me some asking nothing in return. Also, someone is sending me a sourdough starter, again asking nothing in return. And of course I can't forget this lovely roll of toilet paper I got from a friend in a package recently :lau The laugh is exactly what I needed.

Have a great day everyone!

Love the way the folks in your neighborhood are looking out for each other! Sharing what we have goes a long ways, both materially and emotionally.

Ok, you got me again with that tp picture :gig

As most are aware the toilet paper situation has gotten pretty serious for some of us, lol. I finally gave in and placed an order online when it randomly popped up as available to purchase on backorder. Even though it wasn't going to ship until April 12th I figured it was better to know that some is coming eventually. By some miracle it's going to arrive this weekend! So I'm going to drop a few rolls on the doorsteps of anyone that may be completely out. lol, Trying times. :lau
