Thanks. I have tylan in my emergency kit. Cant get that at the feed store anymore. And I have an eyelash at home. Ill use that. What do you think it is? Just an eye infection?
It's hard to know if it's just an eye infection from getting something in it or she may have a respiratory illness since she is not feeling well and seems to be out of condition.

All you can do is treat her and see if there is improvement.
I feed Flock Raiser as well, mine love it. Hopefully you can get everyone straightened out.

Thanks. My neighbor was all like anti Purina. Don't know why...everyone has been amazingly more alert when I stopped all the treats. And it hasnt snowed for a couple days.

:thumbsup I feed Flock Raiser with Oyster Shells in a separate dish for couple years, never had an issue with egg shells nor laying.
Thanks. Was just not sure about the Purina brand. Its $3 more and 20mins farther but I will do anything for my girls. Also bought a big bag of oyster shell since they ate the last of the small Amazon bag. Thank god for tractor supply

What's the difference with layena and flock raiser? Just curious. And blackie hen laid her first normal, but green poop tonight. No diarrhea

Layena is "layer feed", I believe it is less protein than Flock Raiser. It also contains more Calcium.

I prefer the Flock Raiser since I sometimes have different ages/gender(s). I can use that to feed chicks and adults alike, no worrying about switching feeds, etc.
I'm like @ChickNanny13 I just make oyster shell available free choice, the girls will take what they need.

That's cool cuz I was worried with my 4 monthers and my 6 to 8 yr olds. But they all love it way more than the southern states feed. I will def drive out of the way for them to like a food. My roos even couldnt stop talking about it.

Wyorp's correct ... Layena is a layer feed, less protein more calcium. You're better off with Flock Raiser, all including chicks can eat it although I prefer to put hatchling on Medicated Chick Starter/Grower for at least a month.... Preference.
Me too. My hatchlings always get a month of chick starter. Thanks everyone for helping me straighten things out
