hen crowing

Thank you for your input....I love this site.

But now, what to do with these roosters??

If you aren't into chicken noodle soup, I saw a buy/sell/trade and free rehoming I believe under forums somewhere. Down toward the bottom, I think. I know i saw them somewhere. Good luck!

Chickens make for the most wonderful funny stories.   Better than TV.

Very true, they are halarius animals

they are laying eggs...I was not sure about the barred one, it seems more docile and does not crow.

A better photo of the barred one would help confirm it and also a better one of the dark one. The barred one is light coloured though which suggests it is male and I'm pretty sure I can see saddle feathers. The dark one appears to have male sickle feathers but you can't make out much detail because of the lighting, so a close up photo of that one would enable us to be certain, but I'm pretty sure all 4 are male.

these two are so sweet...are they roos? :(
My tenant is telling me that she read that hybred hens crow???
The barred one doesn't crow but the dark one does.

Yes, both definitely cockerels. They may only be sweet natured because they are currently low ranking. That inhibits them from crowing in the presence of a dominant male bird.
They may stay sweet natured but the removal of the other two could also trigger them to fight with each other and/or turn aggressive towards you and/or the hens. There is just no knowing what they will do unless you try it.
