Hen:drake ratio with chickens

Wife and I just got 5 ducks that we plan on having in with our chickens (they're still separated as of now). We have a rouen, Cayuga, 2 Welsh harlequins and a khaki campbell/Pekin cross. We were told all 5 were hens, but the Rouen (named Rosie) is starting to look like a Roy at about 3 and a half months old.

Is 4:1 hen to drake good enough for the ducks to be put in with the chickens without worry of a worked up drake injuring a chicken to get his fix?

Every drake is different so it’s hard to say. I have our ducks separate from our chickens (as far as coops/houses/runs go. However, our chickens free range and will frequently fly over either into the duck run or into our top lot where the ducks rotate foraging. Every once in a while I will catch a drake chasing one of my chicken hens (but it may be territorial vs trying to mate).

Is there a reason you want to keep them together even though they’re separate now?
