Thank you so much. It is so hard to get my husband To help. And I have nobody else around here. She is my wild child my two bramas are a lot tamer. I will do my best. They all have been molting she was the first one that started. Thank you again Lillian

It may be from an injury or pecking, or even dirt and debris. I would get a helper to hold her, and try to wash the area with water. If it won’t come off, then apply some antibiotic ointment to soften it and help it heal.
Thank you again for your help my husband wrnt out and helped me. Of course she was roosting. I tried to wash it but it was very hard almost like dry blood like a sore and I didn’t want to hurt her but I did wash it with some cotton balls and put some triple anabiotic ointment around that area not too close to your eye. When I tried to wash it a little bit hard she pecked me a little stinker, so it must hurt. So I did go over easy. Thank you again have a good evening

I forgot to mention I only have three chickens two Brahmas and her and she’s on the top of the pecking order I’m not sure how that happened

No blood and yes the cotton ball was wet. It is very hard and uneven It must of hurt or she was scared. She pecked me lightly
