Hen has milky white eye

One of our hens, a golden buff, has an eye that appears to have something in it, filling the entire pupil. I have pictures down below - does anyone know what this is and if it's dangerous? As a side note I noticed this almost 2 months ago but chalked it up to the flourescent lights.

It looks opaque like a cataract. She may be blind unfortunately.
