Hen has nothing in her crop, breathing hard don't know whats wrong!

You can give her 1/4 tablet crushed into some egg or her feed daily, or dissolve or crush a whole tablet in a gallon of water for her to drink.

Perfect thats what I did was a pill into a gallon jug. I would imagine I should change it daily. Thank you for your help I will let you know how she does. Terri

Sorry I haven't updated lately but she is still with me, she might be a little better not sure. How long should I give her the Vitiamin B complex? She has been on it for 10 days.

Glad she is still with you. If she is eating well and getting around, then you can stop the B Complex, but it won’t hurt her to have it now and then. If she stops eating, then start it up again. Happy New Year.

Well I have an update, my chicken has taken a turn for the worse which I was afraid of. This morning her waddles are almost white and around her eyes. She pretty much sleeps, I just wanted to see if there is any more I could do or is it time to let her go? Terri

No it isnt and after all these years it hasn't gotten easier whether its a dog or cat or sweet chicken. Oh well all good things come to an end.

So sorry that you are probably going to lose your hen soon. It is very hard when they are sweet and have become pets. Is she still with the other chickens? Just watch to make sure no one picks on her which can happen when they are dying. It may be time to put her down if you feel that she is suufering.
