One of my hens is molting in the dead of winter. All 4 of my hens molted in August of last year.
Is this normal? She also stoped laying as well.

It is rather normal for chickens to molt in the fall or winter. And, most chickens stop laying while they molt. She should be fine.

One of my BOs is molting as well...nothing like a good molt when it's 10°...lol. Her comb has turned light pink, she wouldn't come out of the coop today...can't blame her. I was worried about mites but when I checked her, her skin was "white" not red or irritated looking and I didn't see any signs of those nasty buggers. Also I'm sure it's not a pecking (picking) on her issue because that is normally around the vent. While she is missing the high tail feathers her butt looks soft and fluffy. But seriously it was 40-50° last week and now 10°...silly girl!!!
