Hello everyone!
I am looking for a little advice. My sweet hen, Izzy, seems to have very little energy. She isnt eating and drinking much at all and her crop is empty. She is also pooping a green liquid and what looks like either black or really dark green stool, and of course the white "urine". I put Nutri-Drench in her water, softening up her food with water to help her digest, i also added a drop of oregano oil and a pinch of cinnamon to her soft food. As an added measure i have been putting vet rx on her nostriles and under her wings. This may sound like i am grasping at straws...because i am.
Tonight i am going to offer plain yogurt and pedialyte in hopes that it will help. I may try a little cottage cheese if she will have it. I tried to upload photos but it wouldnt work. She is quarentined away from the flock and i have seen no other signs from the rest. Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thank you in advance!
