So my light Sussex hybrid is just over a year old. She came out of moult around 2 months ago and ever since she has been laying very tiny eggs with no yolk inside. I've got around 10 of these little eggs. What's the cause of this? Is there anything I can do to make her lay normal eggs again?

Coming out of molt, chicken have used protein to reflenish feathers. Upping the protein intake to 20% ++ temporarily will help on better productions and get the nutrients needed.

Hmmm...might be low protein....
What and how exactly are you feeding?

Kind of odd that she molted at 10 months, tho not unprecedented.
Even odder that she'd lay that many eggs without yolks.
There's absolutely nothing in the eggs other than albumen?
Wonders if her ovary is malfunctioning....or she has a major hormonal deficiency?
Sorry no answers for you...other than sometimes you get a 'lemon'.

I feed layers pellets and they have access to it when ever they want to eat. I don't get an egg every day from her but yea it's just the white part of an egg. I was thinking it must be something wrong with her ovaries. Thanks for helping

Got another egg from her today, she must have something wrong with her ovaries?
400

Still no yolk?

Actually, chickens only have one developed ovary. I guess they have 2 at hatch, but only one develops and matures after hatch.

It's really hard to say what is wrong with her.... especially because she was laying normally before molting?...and there's no symptoms of illness/disease?
She could have a cancer or an infection in there and no symptoms have appeared as of yet.
With chickens, it's often and wait and see thing.
