Hen Laying Soon?

I have a 28 week old Bantam Cochin hen. I'm new to owning chickens but from what I've read she's showing some of the signs of laying eggs. She has a very red comb, is playing mom in the nest box...all that stuff. She's been doing this for about 2 months. Is this normal? Or is there something wrong?

Couldn't be more normal except if she was laying

I've heard cochins are very broody... but I've not heard of pullets going broody before they laid. Broody hens will not lay eggs since they are mimicking the cycle of hatching eggs.
