My d’Uccle hen Millie has been acting strange and seems sick.

She is making sneezing and hiccuping and throwing up sounds and they are very strange and scary I have looked in her throut with a flashlight to see if anything is stuck

Symptoms:
- strange sounds
- Sick looking
- sleepier
- skinny
- crop doesn’t fill

Feed: new country organic layer feed
Water: I add poultry probiotic powder
Treats: mealworms, fruits, and she forages

We have had her for 5 months and she was very healthy when we got her but ever since she adopted my sickly chick
(The chick had lots of illnesses and died the thread about her is called mites everywhere) she has not seemed the same

Right now I have her in a dog crate with her feed and water

I just checked her and looked down her throat and their is bubbles down there is that normal also the opening looks tiny?

Also I forgot to say her stomach is growling a lot also

It sounds like she may have a respiratory virus, such as infectious bronchitis. I would make sure that she is drinking well and give her some probiotics 2-3 days per week. Feed her some wet chicken feed and a little egg, and stop the scratch grains, since they do not contain the balanced diet she needs. Do you have any Tylan 50 or other antibiotics? Viruses do not respond to antibiotics, but there can be secondary infections, and MG can look similar in mild strains.

millie this morning was making okay sounds but now not so much right now she is very active though today

This morning Millie is making nice sounds but.... our little d’Uccle cockerel and another’s on of our pullets she lives with are showing signs now
Can it spread?

Help!
One pullet keeps opening her mouth and nothing comes out except tiny tiny sounds and she is sneezing and keeps falling asleep and the other on is acting like usual
The hen seems alright
And the pullet and cockerel pair the cockerel he is making strange breathing sounds also and she is making quiet sounds instead of cheerful chirps and has a droopy eyelid
Millie is doing fine
We have another flock in a different area and they seem well

This is the 3 tier rabbit hutch they live in until their coop is done

Their is ramps so they can go to any level the please their is grower feed and eggshells and watermelon for them to eat (everyone’s on grower feed until the pair is older)
