Hen making strange sounds

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that help with digesting foods. They sometimes are found in your chicken feed if they are listed on the label. You also could buy some for animals, such as Probios Powder or SaveAChick probiotics at feed stores, Gro2Maxfound online, and they are found in small amounts of plain yogurt and buttermilk.

You're going to need to get Tylan from a local feed/farm/co-op or tractor supply store. Just Google for those, call them ahead and ask if they've got it. It's pretty common.

Anything respiratory is going to spread so I'd get the sick girls totally out of the coop, do a full clean with vinegar water and treat the whole flock! Some nutridrench might help as well, that too is something you'll get at farm and feed and its not terribly expensive.

Can you move the sick chicks into a dog crate or similar away from the flock?

I am sorry I do not know as much about these problems as others so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly. But in the meantime I will share what I would do if in your situation.

A lot of respiratory illnesses are made worse by poor ventilation. Make sure your coop has good airflow and make sure the bedding is dry and not adding to the problem. Some of these illnesses can be viral or fungal and won’t respond to antibiotics. They just have to run their course. However, I don’t think it would hurt to give ALL the birds some in case there might be a chance it is bacterial. @Eggcessive provided a link for Tylan 50. I purchased some at Tractor Supply. I would get some as soon as possible and start all my birds on it. I would think infectious bronchitis would be contagious, thus its name.

I do not have the dosage info but I know there is a thread here that contains the info. I will continue to look and you can do a search as well.

Yes, respiratory diseases can spread, especially infectious bronchitis. I would not separate them, but just let the virus spread, since they will be carriers for up to a year after recovery (if they have infectious bronchitis.) IB is a virus, and although sneezing is the main symptom, the kidneys and reproductive system can be affected, especially in young pullets and cockerels. Shelless eggs and wrinkled eg shells may be seen sometimes in layers. If any chickens seem especially sick, you can try Tylan to treat them, since secondary bacterial infections can be common. You can buy Tylan for the water (dosage is 1 tsp per gallon or 1/4 tsp per quart of water) here:

Alright I ordered the medicine because no place near me had it but in the meantime what should I do?
One pullet is sick sick sick...
She is sputtering amd sneezing and her eyes are droopy and sad and she is just standing around and opening her mouth and having trouble breathing
Millie seems better
Our cockerels crow is still strange and everyone seems to have it but this pullet has it awful I haven’t heard her make any sounds except the sneeze like cough coming from her mouth
