Hen or Roo Barred Rock?

Okay trying to think this through if they both are roosters. Of course they have to go but so that I could have my four hens would you suggest getting new chicks or older pullets so they are roughly the same age as the ones I have now?? Thanks. I am so sad that both my black chicks are probably roosters. Thank you all for your input. I am very appreciative.

You could always get sex link chicks. That way you would know for sure they are pullets since even ordering pullets isnt 100% accurate.

I would go get pullets around the same age as soon as possible so that they can join the rest of your flock before a pecking order is established.

I was torn between hen or rooster with the first photo...but that's looking more and more like a pullet! Check my rooster...really whiter, and the comb is starting to turn pink Also if it helps I've notices that the roosters are bigger (all my chicks are the same age), and their tail feather are more grown in than the hens (which wasn't the case when they were younger).

Oh you guys are giving me hope. Yeah!! I so want to keep my four chicks. The waiting game is the hardest.
