Hen or roo (silkie)

I just bought these Two yesterday #1 is about 1 1/2-2 months and #2 is roughly a month old, hoping for a hen. Any guesses?

Silkies are difficult to sex, even at 6+ months. I would wait a bit, since you can't tell with Silkies until they're older

giver her six months could be either she will lay and egg or roo? it is a Silky

You could post again at 4 mos. or so - usually 4-5 mos. is a good time to check.

They both seem to be pullets right now but I agree on updating us in a few months to make it a bit easier

They both look like hens but it’s hard to tell over pictures. They are super cute though!

Silkies are slower developing, so you have to wait awhile. Could you post pics of their combs with the crest pulled back, at around 12 weeks?
