I think they are both cockerels due to the red/rust coloring on the wings and the size/redness of the combs.
Oh no! I only have a flock of 9 total. 2 roos is too many right? Or can they all live together?

Take my opinion of the 2 with a grain of salt but I’m going off the many posts I’ve read about EEs because I had one that I questioned for many weeks so I tried to read them all.

I’ve not had a rooster before, but again, because of all my reading due to a possible cockerel, here’s what I’ve learned (which again, may be misguided).

There isn’t a magic formula but what I’ve seen is rule of thumb is 8-10 females to every one male. Having two roosters with only 7 gals is likely to be problematic in most cases. I’ve also read that some people keep a bachelor pad (separate coop and run) for just the boys and keep the girls in their own area. If the birds can all free range, that might reduce the chances of conflict and/or over-mating, but may not. Again, no expert and going off only the many posts I’ve read! I look forward to hearing other comments on the subject!
